Welcome to the New Support Fund (NSF) Section.
The New Support Fund is a DfES funded programme being
delivered in 40 of the most deprived local authority areas in England.
NSF is delivered by local community and voluntary organisations. They
work directly with the young people in their area who need this extra
support to overcome barriers to reaching their full potential. Projects
can be based in local community centres, which have a wider role in the
New, or in dedicated centres. It funds community and voluntary organisations,
enabling them to work with 13 – 19 year olds who are not engaged
in education, employment or training or who at risk of disengagement.
We fund 19 projects across Manchester, Oldham,. Rochdale and Salford.
